Low Level Laser Therapy

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) known as “cold” laser therapy because the level of light is low which aren’t enough to heat your body’s tissue, this FDA-cleared solution uses clinical-strength laser technology to treat hair loss and thinning hair for both men and women. LLLT uses non-invasive, pain-free light technology to stimulate hair follicles and scientifically induce regrowth of thicker, fuller hair.

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) also known as Photobiomodulation (PBM Therapy) use of photons at a non-thermal irradiance to alter biological activity. LLLT uses either coherent light sources (lasers) or non-coherent light sources consisting of filtered lamps or light-emitting diodes (LED) or, on occasion, a combination of both and the wavelength used are 420,530,590,640,880

LLLT involves exposing cells or tissue to low-levels of red and near infrared (NIR) light and over injuries or lesions to improve wound and soft tissue healing, reduce inflammation and give relief for both acute and chronic pain.

The energy in the waves destroys the tissue by heating it. As a result, it encourages new cells to replace the damaged cells. It stimulates new collagen formation, thereby tightens the collagen which improves rhytides (wrinkles) and other signs of sun or photo damage

In the last few decades, non-ablative laser therapies have been used increasingly for the aesthetic treatment such as in:

  • Acne>>inflamatory and Rosacea
  • Hair loss and regrowth in males and females
  • Anti-aging- improves photodamage skin by improving skin texture and firmness which redueces fine lines, wrinkles.
  • Skin rejuvenation improves superficial hyperpigmentation and in few skin conditions: vitiligo and non-melanoma skin cancers.
